BEIRUT: Beirut Attorney General Judge Zaher Hamadeh charged Tuesday two doctors for the death of a businessman at a hospital in Beirut.
The doctors, identified by their initials as Dr. J.B and Dr. N.M, were charged on grounds of negligent care for their patient, which then resulted in his death.
According to article 564 of the Lebanese Penal Code, whoever causes the death of a person due to negligence or lack of care or failure to observe the laws or regulations could be imprisoned for up to three years.
