BEIRUT: The body of Joseph Wardeh, who went missing last Saturday, is being recovered from the wreckage of his car in the Beit Misk Valley, Metn.
Wardeh was last seen alive leaving his jewelry store in Ashrafieh, with his son expecting him for lunch. Initially, loved ones were of the belief that he was kidnapped or murdered, however, it now seems to have been a tragic accident.
The intelligence wing of the Lebanese Army was able to locate the car, while civil defense units are currently working on recovering his body to return it to his family.
