George and Amal Clooney are rumoured to be coming soon to Lebanon.
But is the endearing relationship that media has with Lebanon's guilt edged ambassadors – who almost at times seem like our own royal family – finally coming to an end?
Today, the British newspaper Independent writes a parody piece about the upmarket British country location where the Clooney's bought a house but sought to examine all of the low class places to visit as a sort of dry take on the Clooneys slobbing out, hanging out with the 'popular classes' and practicing vulgar pursuits or eating in $7US-a-head restaurants.
It's not only the British press though which appear to have grown tired of them. Lebanon also now appears to have suffered a similar fatigue.
Today Al Jadeed TV appears to be close to making fun of George as they re-run an interview from a US network of him talking about his latest film, which they of course dub in Arabic, which today is being mocked on social media.
