Lebanon reports 29 new coronavirus cases, 1 new death

Out of those 29 cases, only 2 are locals while the remaining 27 are Lebanese expats.

BEIRUT: The Ministry of Public Health announced on Saturday that 29 new coronavirus cases were recorded, raising the total number of registered cases to 1,220.

The cases who were registered in the past 24 hours were distributed as follows: Two locals and 27 expats. Also, one new death has been announced, raising the tally to 27 recorded deaths since the beginning of the pandemic in Lebanon.

The total number of active cases reached 481, of which 421 are in home isolation and 62 are hospitalized.
