20 new COVID-19 cases in Lebanon

BEIRUT: The Ministry of Public Health announced that 20 new COVID-19 cases were registered in the past 24 hours. 

The total number of COVID-19 patients reached 931, while the number of recovered cases increased to 251. 

Today was the first phase of the lockdown ease after the country went through a total lockdown during the past 5 days. Prime Minister Hassan Diab called on all Lebanese to keep on practicing safety measures as the lockdown eases.

The number of COVID-19 cases has reached 4.71 million worldwide with 315,000 deaths. 1.73 million patients have recovered.
