BEIRUT: In a marked jump of pandemic cases arriving from abroad, the Ministry of Public Health announced that 25 COVID-19 infection cases have been recorded among the passengers on board the flight that arrived Wednesday from Nigeria.
"The infected returnees will be admitted to the hospital, while strict home quarantine measures will be imposed on the remaining passengers, knowing that they will be monitored daily by the ministry, and whoever shows any symptoms will be sent straight to the hospital for re-testing," according to the ministry's statement.
As for the flight that arrived from Qatar, all its passengers have tested negative for coronavirus, the ministry said.
